Tasty And Delicious Omena/Dagaa

 






INGREDIENTS 

3 chopped onions

3 cloves of garlic (crushed)

3 chopped tomatoes

coriander

500 grams omena 

1 cup milk/coconut milk

Oil


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Thoroughly wash the omena and boil in  salty water..  drain and set aside

2. Heat oil in a big sufuria and deep fry the omena.. till  crunchy  and to a  brown  colour.. Drain the excess oil and set aside

3. Heat a little amount of oil..  and fry the onions.. when its almost done to  a golden brown colour,add the garlic and stir until fragrant

4. Add the tomatoes  and salt to taste.. let it cook  until everything is well done.

5. Go in with the omena.mix well  cover for 5minutes to let everything come together

6. Add the milk  bring to a boil for 15 minutes under low heat

7. Add  coriander  mix well cover and simmer for 2minutes and serve
    
         Serve with warm ugali and greens😋
